KINGS ART CENTER

The Kings Art Center was created 1989 for the residents of Kings County and its many visitors to preserve an interest in the arts. Approximately every four weeks, gallery shows are changed, creating a continuous variety of visual arts to be viewed. Typical shows in the gallery include photography, pottery, water color, mixed media, prints, textiles and fibers, oil paintings, pastels, floral arrangements or combinations of several of these.
Besides the inviting gallery exhibits, the Kings Art Center is a "playground" for students anxious to learn to create in varieties of mediums. Classes are available through the College of the Sequoias curriculum in painting, water color, printmaking, photography, design, clay/sculpture, fibers and paper making.
For information concerning classes or gallery shows, please drop by the center at 605 North Douty Street or mail inquiries to P.O. Box 376, Hanford, CA 93232. (559)584-1065. Open noon till 3pm daily, except Mondays.
